BARTŁOMIEJ DERA

My name is Bartłomiej Dera. When I was 15 years old, the first computer turned up at our family home. It was 1998. From that moment, by trial and error, I started an intensive self-study on how to operate a computer and an operating system. For a number of years I read “Komputer Świat” magazine. Thanks to that,I felt that I was discovering a new world, completely unknown to me so far.

After graduating from high school I decided to study computer science. I finished my engineering studies with specialization in IT and Business Communication, with my supplementary master degree studies in electronic economy. Meanwhile, I took up different jobs in order to pay for my studies and develop my skills. However, I have always chosen jobs related to computers and work with people. I worked as a sales assistant and sales advisor at Komputronik for 2 years.

Meanwhile, photography, my newly discovered passion, resulted in completing a few month digital photography course. My life and personal development motto is to work on many levels, without neglecting my body or spirit. I manage to combine taking pictures with long bicycle and field trips.

Exploring every area I am interested in is in my nature. Commonly accessible and superficial information does not satisfy me, and for this reason, over all those years, I have gained considerable knowledge regarding technology and developed my technical skills.

Apart from that, as long as I can remember I have always been interested in psychology of human behaviour. For that reason, I value contact with people a lot. Honesty, reliability and mutual cooperation are the principal values I follow in my life. I always aim to reach an agreement and try to find a common ground with my interlocutor. When I don’t see eye to eye with them, I look for a compromise. Such approach builds relations between people and results in mutual benefit which can turn out to be useful in the future.

For many years I have been trying to combine all my skills and knowledge which resulted in my ability to offer professional assistance, something I am proud to be good at. Competence is paramount to me. I have helped many people to opt for a suitable laptop, camera or a bicycle. Ultimately, I have also taken interest in drones, and I am able to advise on, and help with its purchase.
